Jacksonville SQL Server Users Group

Welcome to the Jacksonville SQL Server Users Group

The Jacksonville SQL Server Users Group (JSSUG) was founded by Brian Knight in January 2003, creating a community for database developers and administrators in the Jacksonville area. The goal of JSSUG is to share knowledge, best practices, and network. Today, it is a community focusing on development, administration, and business intelligence. Free meetings are open to the public every month. Meetings include presentations, technology announcements, local job opportunities, and quick brainstorming/guidance for users experiencing difficulty. An after event for additional networking, shop talk, and users desiring more detailed guidance for specific challenges is available following the meeting.

With the general release of Azure Data Factory v2 it’s now time to discuss building dynamic pipelines in Azure Data Factory v2. In this session we are going to cover how to use the various activities available in Azure Data Factory and as a bonus we are going to discuss how to use input and output parameters to make the pipeline dynamic! We will not discuss how to set up and provision Azure Data Factory. A basic understanding of Azure and ETL is useful.

Speaker Bio:

Mitchell Pearson is a Business Intelligence Consultant and Trainer for Pragmatic Works. Mitchell’s focus is on the full BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS). In addition to the BI Stack he also have experience with Data Modeling, T-SQL, MDX, Power Pivot and the Power BI Tools. Mitchell graduated from the University of North Florida in 2007 and is constantly expanding his knowledge on all things SQL Server
